Hi all, I recently added the full tort option (hope I'm getting that term right) to my car insurance as it only increased my monthly premium by a few dollars. Given that NJ is a No Fault State, would you even get to use the benefit of suing an At Fault driver for damages? I'm just sick of bad drivers staying on the road after causing accidents and not facing any consequences. (Sorry if the flair doesn't apply but it's the best I've got).

The difference between Full Tort & Limited Tort is that you can sue for pain & suffering or serious injury.
In New Jersey, a serious injury is any of the following:
Displaced fracture Loss of a limb Serious scarring or disfigurement Loss of a fetus Permanent injury other than scarring or disfigurement (To prove this, you will need to obtain a Certification of Permanent Injury from a doctor.) Death
