These daily pranks are really going to get a lot more kids killed the next time it isn’t a prank.

I’m editing my post to say my own kid (a high school freshman) had a controlled release this afternoon due to what the cops believe is a hoax threat of a shooting. They are taking the threat seriously anyway. As they should. This just all sucks.

Increased risk of someone getting hurt even if it is a prank. Potential evacuations / someone gets hit by a car, trigger happy on edge cop looking for potential shooter firing at the wrong person etc....

This needs to stop.

These assholes making the calls need to be arrested and locked up.

When police officers are responding to these fake alarms, they can’t deal with the real emergencies where they are needed.
