I like a lot of breweries in Pittsburgh, but I love Necromancer. Good brews, good people, good atmosphere. Hard to find all three sometimes.

Most people don't realize it, but in under 10 miles you can hit Necromancer, Grist House, Strange Roots, Hitchhiker, and Dancing Gnome in practically a straight shot. That's a solid lineup IMO.

Wow I didn’t realize that either! Haven’t been to any of those other breweries but have tried their brews at bars and restaurants, I’ll have to check them out and make a day out of it.

Only if you have a vehicle are those 10 miles travelable

If i hit all of those, I won't be operating a vehicle

Exactly. This is kinda advocating for a Brews Cruise around the neighborhoods. I'd like to see like a half marathon that has checkpoints where you gotta drink a beer at each brewery

I've loved everything I've tried from there so far.

Great brewery! And great people too. The Oktoberfest they did was amazing. I highly recommend it. It was definitely the best value proposition ticketed event I went to this year.

Not a great location though, totally un-walkable, but I guess that's to be expected in Ross township

They are pretty solid but be aware that they switch out all the beer every few months.

Not a bad thing but just noting in case you go back for something specific.

I have a few tattoos and have been given the same advice by my artists. That didn’t click for me until just now! I don’t blame Necromancer for that if the organizers weren’t aware of those risks, but the tattoo artist who agreed to participate definitely should have been. I can see the appeal of wanting to tattoo a large crowd, but people’s safety comes first.

Sounds like you think their name would’ve been the death of them.

They specialize in resurrecting brews. For instance, What's The Point brought back a style from Pittsburgh's first recorded brewery in the 1700's.

Edit: a word
