They take a lot, I break down boxes and place them in the largest box. They have always taken them.

I put out a pile of flattened boxes last week that was about 3 feet high and they took it.

They also once took a treadmill box that was literally the size of a casket so I think you'll be fine.

They'll take a ton of cardboard. Just break and cut it down to manageable chunks. When I have a lot of cardboard, I'll stack it and wrap with duct tape string so they can just grab the bundle.

edit: use string instead

Duct tape isn't recyclable so there's a chance they won't take it. Some of the sanitation workers don't care and will pick it up anyway, but others will play by the rules.

Hello neighbor. You probably won't have any trouble, but after my move, I gotbrid of most of my boxes by giving them away on Craigslist. The rest I just drove over to Construction Junction.

If you have Uhaul boxes, take them back to Uhaul. They'll take them back. Otherwise, pick a few boxes a little bigger than a case of beer or a medium sized Amazon box, set them aside, and break everything else down, and stick them in the ones you set aside.

they are like 9ft boxes for a couch, no amount a breaking them down will fit into a small sized box
