Fine Dining for Vegetarians

Hi everyone!

I'm planning a date night that includes a fine dining experience. My partner and I both vegetarians, so we're very familiar with the vegetarian restaurants Providence has to offer. While I do love the vegetarian scene that Providence has, I'd love to find a true fine dining experience with some great veg options or a solid vegetarian menu.

Can anyone recommend a fine dining experience downtown that would be vegetarian friendly?

Persimmons on east side is hands down my favorite fine dinning restaurant. They do a tasting menu to die for. Since my wife is vegetarian she orders the veg. Tasting menu while I get the regular one. It’s not inexpensive but for the money it’s a memorable date night.

Foglia in Bristol is also excellent vegan food.

We are longtime vegetarians, and have been wanting to go to Palo. I remember Gracie’s did a great job for me a while back, too. Foglia in Bristol is supposed to be really good as well.

How fine of dining are you looking for? Are you just looking for something reasonably nice, or more of a haute-cuisine tasting menu sort of thing?

Not necessarily a tasting menu, more of a traditional 3 or so course meal at a restaurant where you’re strongly encouraged to dress up.

Palo’s has amazing veggie dishes. They’re a tapas place and it has a sort of cozy, romantic feel instead of fine dining. but their food is amazing. my friends and i go ham on all their veggie tapas and are always so satisfied.

Gracie's can make your 3 or 5 course prix fixe meal all veggie or vegan.

Maybe not what you have in mind for 'fine dining' but Plant City certainly has the prices and a trendy vibe. The non-pizza options at Double Zero are good based on what I've tried.
