Bass Guitar lessons

Looking for somebody who would work well with a 12 year old and is available on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons.

Thought I’d post this here just in case somebody had a great suggestion

As a middle aged bassist, I wish your kiddo luck! Heavy bass strings and wide spaced frets are tough on smaller hands, so be sure to encourage them to have patience with themselves.

My son (14 now) has been taking bass lessons at Westwood Music Club for a couple years. The teachers there have been great (he also takes drum lessons there). One thing I would suggest for a 12yo is to look for a short-scale bass. My son has this one and it's been great. Ibanez Mikro
