Yes. And it's also worth studying to ensure it's as effective as it was thought it be.

I got omicron in late September I tested positive on Monday and contacted my doctor and due to MS i qualified for the drug. I started the drug and by Friday I tested negative. No side effects or issues with the drug and lingering symptoms of Covid. I lost taste but it returned after I finished the drug so no bad taste from it.

Going to start my third day of it in the morning.
Caught covid and not Turkeys.
The lingering taste is awful. But I found Gatorade zero is helping me with it.

As soon as my positive hit my PCP, he prescribed it to me and I had it within a couple of hours…made everything taste like metal.

It's also associated with rebound cases that are more severe than the original infection.

Source? There are no differences with no treatment afaik

There's little, if any, evidence that the rebound cases are "more severe" than original infection. Further, other factors likely played a role in Paxlovid-linked rebound cases.

The person you're replying to is an anti-vaxx, and apparently any kind of treatment for covid. Aka absolutely stupid
