  1. Wheel bearing if it makes that sound while driving normally. (Sometimes combined with a whirring sound)

  2. Or if the grinding sound happens when you press on your brakes, then likely it's the brake pad.

Yeah I’m thinking a wheel bearing also cuz the brakes don’t affect it, that being said, if it is in the hub, does that get very expensive?

Probably cheaper than if it fails catastrophically while driving.

I've had good experiences with Aasby though I've only used them a few times.

I would absolutely avoid Bohannon.

Those are the only two garages I have used in town.
