I think I’ve heard this countless times before. Yak shaving the browser is a tale as old as the internet itself.

He complains that starting with a search is inefficient and wants to better integrate bookmarks. I never use bookmarks and find it easier to search every time because things are always changing and often improving. I don't want an old source, I want the latest, best source.

It'd make it a great porn browser though.

Same thing as the last guy said, I want the latest and greatest in porn, not something that I beat it to 3 weeks ago.

wow those screenshots are a real turn off. I dont need a file tree and list of apps in my browser...the entire point of opening in web is to not use apps in the first place

Based on his complaints and suggestions (and the accompanying screenshots), it sounds like he's just re-building Vivaldi.
Why is The Verge publishing this?

I didn't catch any way it was different in the article, except sidebar tabs and Vivaldi already beat them to the punch there. Care to elaborate?
Also... your username, this disagreement is not very unkind at all. I feel like I need either some invective quick or I'ma claim false advertising.

I honestly couldn't find Spaces anywhere else. I have two sccount of everything, especially Instagram, and just switching with a click is a game changer for me.
On one space I have Personal, and then I have Work.
fezzik02 t1_iuj3oo4 wrote
I do that with Opera, but unless I read you wrong I'm still working with the same set of cookies and data caching in both my Work and Personal workspaces.

I love how they adopted the Opera "Pinboards" feature but didn't bother giving it a name :P

A fundamental opportunity lies in expanding the 1D presentation of tabs. Windows can be organized in 2D, and this is why there is some nostalgia for the old way.

Vivaldi and Opera both have ways to add a second (actually half of a second) dimension and it's actually pretty helpful.
