The constant shouting, talking over each other, the abrasive and unlikeable characters, things going wrong all the time.

I did finish the whole season but I don’t know if I would watch the second season that has just been announced and I definitely would never rewatch the first season ever. It’s just too anxiety inducing and stressful

It's practically a documentary. It's the most honest portrayal of the the restaurant world on television since Bourdain died. Constant shouting, people talking over each other, abrasive and unlikable personalities and things going wrong all the time all goes with the territory.

If anyone's looking for something similar I'd recommend Shiva Baby just watched it this week for the first time and I'd highly recommend.

The Bear is praised for its realism. That’s often what it’s like in a real kitchen. Long time cooks/chefs have even commented that the show triggers their PTSD.

Tip the people who make you food.

You lost me at the tip part.

People need to force their governments to raise pay for the workers instead of pushing that cost on the consumer.

I'm from a country where not tipping used to be okay but every American thing has to seep into our cultures somehow and so did tipping.

Sure, but until the Government are forced then tip your servers.

I do my man, I don't think I implied anywhere that I don't tip. But the governments all around the world need to ensure fair payments to these workers. I just want the world to be a place where not tipping someone doesn't make you feel bad.

The US population is split sort of 50/50 on the issue of “forcing their government to raise pay for such people” so it’s not likely to happen.

English isn't my first language so it took me some time to get why "such people" wasn't the best way to say it. I've made the change now. Thanks.

The “such people” wasn’t the issue. My point stands.

I thought the film Emily the Criminal had way more Uncut Gems vibe than The Bear.

So much tension you could cut it with a knife in that show.

I thought it was a fairly enjoyable show, but the ending was pretty unsatisfying to me in several different ways.

Yeah I don't get the hype of the Bear for all those reasons plus the shaky in your face camera work. Not my thing but JMO.
