Nobody's Looking is a 30 minute show, 1 season of 8 episodes about angels.

A new angel is created and learns about their job - which is very structured. They all wear uniforms, they get daily assignments to guard a person, they write out reports at the end of the day that get stamped and filed. There are 4 main rules they have to follow.

The new angel has questions about what they are doing and why. No one has any answers or cares about the questions. So the new angel pushes to learn more.

It's not a comedy in that there are no jokes. It is not lol. It is more absurd. You watch to see what happens.

Several storylines wrap up, but it ends on a reveal that would be setting up a second season that did not happen.

If you like Miracle Workers season 1 or the Good Place you should check it out.

I generally recommend it to folks who need a methadone show to recover from The Good Place addiction. :) I'm just sad they only had the one season.

Anecdotally it seems Portuguese fits in more words per minute than the average language. The subtitles are flying by far faster than I’m accustomed to. Great show though! Hopefully it comes back for a season two so the cliffhanger is resolved.

I realize I sound super prude but I watched the first few episodes and feel like there are too many sexual jokes...not american btw, the premise is really fun but the humour just doesnt work for me
