That’s actually the image I wanted to show up in the thumbnail but I had no control over it. I found a weird rabbit hole of information about this; the physicist who discovered this early method of photography was one of 72 men’s names inscribed into the Eiffel Tower since he was French and clearly a revolutionary of his time.
And also, I learned that photography means to “paint/draw with light” which is really beautiful and fascinating to think about 💭
