Fidium repairs after storm?

Hey, folks. I'm considering switching from Comcast to Fidium (I'm in Central VT) and am wondering if anyone had an outage on Fidium with the storm this past week. Comcast did eventually get it fixed, but there was a total lack of transparency, and it was just about impossible to get hold of an actual human.

Anyone have experience with Fidium they can share?

I got Fidium a few months ago and could not be happier. They seem to be a great company. They have actual people pick up the phone when you call.

Luckily I didn’t loose power for very long. In fact it’s was while I was sleeping. When I woke up I had power and my internet was working just fine.

No experience with Fidium, but I was definitely wondering what was going on with Xfinity internet after the storm, as like you, no luck getting updates. For us, we also get out cell from Wi-Fi, so pretty annoying to be totally cut off for 3 days. (But big picture, grateful to have power!!). Kinda stuck with Xfinity due to having their cell service too.

Burlington Telecom is great if you can get it. Super fast. I've kept Xfinity for cable Tv because my wife doesn't want to cut the cord. But for internet it beats Comcast. And so fa no complaints about service

We have had Fidium in Barre for 6 months or so. Ours came right back when the power came on. Very happy with them in general.

Mine went out a couple of times but no longer than 30 minutes. I'm much happier with Fidium than the crap Charter is selling
