Why would we ? Just use a safety broker like IBKR in europe ..

Degiro is decent broker with quite good fees and wide product range offering (no US options thou), at least for me )) Please update later on which one you have chosen eventually.

I’d advice to go with IBKR,it might be a bit complex at first but you’ll get used to it after about a week or so,some brokers really tend to be shady and Ibkr has good rep and low commissions too
