The earliest writings we've found that talk about Co2 causing global warming, are from the 1862.

Standard Oil Company opened 1865.
Chevron opened 1879.
Shell opened 1907.
B&P opened 1909.

So on and so forth...

The research that proves oil companies knew they were contributing to global warming is older than basically any oil company you can name.

They've been actively suppressing scientific knowledge we discovered over 150 years ago, for the same amount of time - and they still haven't stopped.

Generations and generations of liars.

That's why transmission fees cost more than the actual energy used, gotta keep those profits hitting new record highs every year no matter how hard it makes it for working people.

Will help them save a little with the Russian cutoff. Hopefully a warmer winter this year leads to permanent energy independence.

Maybe I’m exposing my Americanness, but is there really a defined “heating season?” I adjust my heat or AC to whatever temp I need regardless of season. Asking outside the context of current events, obviously.

This mostly applies to people living in apartments with central heating (oil or gas) that is often switched off over the summer, say May to October.

Most houses in most countries of Europe starting heating season mid-October don’t have ACs

Some American cities have heating seasons too, like NYC. Landlords are required to have the heat on by now

This mostly has to do with when you decide to spin up district heating systems which serve tens of thousands using a highly efficient central plant.
