I remember the thread on here about a month ago that someone posted that basically said plots should be smaller to enable more housing builds and towns and cities shouldn’t limit the amount of new construction in their jurisdiction, and like every redditor was against this.
I know it’s easy to rag on the rich but I highly doubt your average home owning r/Maine redditor is a millionaire living in some enclave in Maine, yet they share these same views. “Not my backyard”.

I wonder if this has anything to do with LeRage gutting and fucking around with the labor board? I had to use them once when I worked at dunkins in my 20s and they were on top of us reporting not receiving our checks. Like so on top of it the managers pulled from petty cash to pay us within days.

Yeah, professional tree services don’t exist in Maine.

Nothing like skirting homeowners responsibilities onto third party companies and eventually tax payers.

Are they actually lit?! That’s what’s confusing me. Never seen them before but I didn’t think fire and paper went together.

I thought it only had to be earmarked for payroll if they didn’t want to have to pay the loan back. If they choose to pay the loan back they could’ve used it for anything? I am probably most definitely wrong though.

Reply to comment by zzorga in Augusta police cruiser was unlocked and running, with AR-15 rifle inside, when stolen, according to court documents by benpinette
Thanks for clarifying that. I couldn’t think of the event or where it was to google it myself.
Although I did find this:
“The robbers wore homemade body armor which successfully protected them from handgun rounds and shotgun pellets fired by the responding officers. A law enforcement SWAT team eventually arrived with better weapons, but they had little effect on the heavy body armor used by the two perpetrators. The SWAT team also commandeered an armored car to evacuate the wounded. Several officers additionally equipped themselves with AR-15s and other semi-automatic rifles from a nearby firearms dealer.”
I believe firing handguns at body armor was an inadequacy hence why they needed to go get AR15s. They had fully automatic weapons to the officers handguns. I think my point stands.

I’ve been told the owners of macs are a bit dickish. Supposedly a Native American went in and found all the Native American imagery offensive. He brought it up to management who told him to eat somewhere else if he didn’t like it. 🤷♀️
I haven’t been back since I heard about this.

Essentially when you power citizens with high powered weaponry the police also need to have said high power weaponry.
There was a case a long time ago (don’t remember where) of two bank robbers that had high powered guns and when the cops showed up they had to retreat because they basically brought knives to a gun fight. I think they had to go to a nearby gun store to equip themselves with the correct weaponry. I could be wrong with some details though.

Also, if democrats thought this and lived by it how exactly did Susan Collins get re-elected??
