Police Departments across the state are stretched thin as so many officers are attending the funerals today. Assholes are capitalizing on that by filing false reports to overburden the limited police services available. Fucking vultures.

Reply to Planning a trip to West Hartford in December or January. What neat stuff is there? by SithPL
First Night (January 1st) in Hartford is pretty fun. It starts during the day if you have kids, and has carriage rides around the park, the historical merry go round is open, and the Soldiers and Sailors memorial arch is open to visit. Fireworks in the evening.
West Hartford Main St. and Blueback Square are great for walking, eating, and shopping.
Elizabeth Park is beautiful all year long, but you'll be here for the least beautiful season to visit.
Wadsworth Athenaeum in Hartford is a world class art museum, and the CT Science Center is loads of fun if you have kids.
Also, Harry's Pizza is the best pizza in the region, and Goldbergs Bagels are the best in the state (both in West Hartford).
