Reply to comment by GimmickMusik1 in If we can use a decent EQ device such as the Qudelix to tune a headphone to the Harman target curve why can’t we use the same eq device to move a crappy headphone to sound like a great headphone? by SpecialistHoneydew51
>auto EQing to a target is fairly inaccurate in the treble frequencies (Idon’t know why. It’s just something that I and others have noticed)
2 main reasons, first is that popular measurment systems are inaccurate past 10K (that might be fixed with B&K 5128 adoption), and second one is HRTF, treble can differ drastically, depending on a person. You can't really fix second one without measuring your personal HRTF.

Well, you can start from oratory1990 EQ preset. Not my personal favorite, but an improvement for sure, and you can go from there and adjust it as you please. I can give some of mine and the other's people EQ profiles later, you can check them as well.

As an owner of HE6SEv2 I can say that without EQ this headphone is not worth it. I'd rather listen to Sundara in stock. But with EQ it becomes really good. If you don't want do deal with EQ/physical mods, don't even bother

That is until you buy yourself something like HE6SEv2

HD 600 doesn't have a particularly big soundstage to begin with, so most open backs should be better than that

Reply to Dunu Titan S is actually open-back!! Why did Dunu not advertise it as such?! by Fantastic_Influence9
I mean, you can see it for yourself. Term "open-back" is not something that exists in IEM world, even iSine is called semi-open. This is nowhere near iSine level of openness
