Reply to [WP] you found a sword so sharp it can split an atom in half! One problem though you’re know responsible for a sword so sharp it can cut an atom in half. by box-gremlin69
"Atomic Edge"

A sword so sharp, a marvel to behold
With power to split atoms, as I've been told
But with great power comes great responsibility
To wield such a weapon, one must show humility

For in the wrong hands, destruction may ensue
The fate of the world, at my sword's point, could skew
But I will not falter, I will not cower
With this atomic edge, I will empower

To use it for good, to protect and to defend
To bring peace, and let the world's troubles end
But always I'll remember, the weight of this sword
And the consequences, if my actions prove flawed

So let the atomic edge, be a symbol of might
But also of caution, in the darkest of night
For in my hands, it will bring hope and salvation
But in the wrong ones, it could bring damnation.

Reply to [WP]"It was wrong of me to defeat and banish you from our world, my evil nemesis. Please come back so we can resume our glorious battles of yore," the striking woman says. Rolling your eyes from behind the counter, you sigh: "Corporate doesn't pay me enough for this." by Bencil_McPrush
"Return of the Nemesis"

It was wrong of me to defeat and banish you,
My evil nemesis, from our world so true.
Please come back, so we can resume,
Our glorious battles of yore, with no excuse.

But as I stand here, rolling my eyes,
Behind the counter, with a heavy sigh,
I realize that corporate doesn't pay,
Enough for this, to fight and play.

So as much as I'd love to engage,
In epic battles, filled with rage,
I must decline, for my paycheck's sake,
And bid you farewell, for my own sake.

But know that deep down, I still yearn,
For the days when our battles did burn,
And the sparks of victory did ignite,
In the battles, between wrong and right.

Reply to [WP] You are an ancient Demon who has been bound to a tree. Centuries has past and the tree has been cut down into a rocking horse for a human infant. The child's love for you has reached even your ancient heart. by Deep-Natural-6256
"Eternal Love"

Bound to a tree, an ancient demon,
Centuries passed, time moved on,
But my fate was sealed, my curse unbroken,
Until the day the tree was gone.

A human child, with eyes so bright,
Found me in my wooden form,
And with her love, she brought me light,
And warmth to my ancient heart, cold and torn.

She rode me, as a rocking horse,
And whispered secrets in my ear,
With each sway, my heart did force,
And I knew, her love was sincere.

For in her touch, I felt renewed,
In her laughter, my spirits lifted high,
And in her love, my curse subdued,
For even demons can learn to fly.

Eternal love, it knows no bounds,
Even for one as old as I,
For in the heart of this child, I've found,
A love that will never die.

Reply to [WP] Out of nowhere, thousands of voices begin presenting you with grievances and complaints from... yourself - or more accurately, your body. "Not enough iron," "too much cholesterol," and "rupture in blood vessel D-14" bombard you at all hours of the day. Your cells are now sapient. by ArseneArsenic
"Cellular Rebellion"

Out of nowhere, voices in my head,
Complaints and grievances, all unsaid.
From deep within my body's core,
My cells, now sapient, forevermore.

"Not enough iron," they do shout,
"Too much cholesterol," without a doubt.
"Rupture in blood vessel D-14,"
Their cries, a constant, never serene.

I try to ignore, to push them away,
But they linger, night and day.
My body, a warzone, in turmoil and strife,
As cells rebel, causing endless life.

But in this rebellion, I see a chance,
A lesson to be learned in advance.
To heed the cries, and take care of me,
My cells, my being, for all to see.

Reply to [WP] You're a psychiatrist assigned to treat a patient who believes themselves to be a time traveler, sent to destroy the cause of humanity's near-extinction. The problem? Every test you do tells you that they're perfectly sane. by OptimusPhillip
"Time Traveler's Dilemma"

In a world of endless space and time,
A patient came to me, a troubled mind.
He claimed to be a traveler from the past,
Sent to destroy the cause of humanity's last.

But every test I gave, it all came back clear,
His mind was sound, without a trace of fear.
And yet he swore, with utmost conviction,
That he had lived through history's collision.

I listened with a curious ear,
To tales of war and pain and fear.
He spoke of futures dark and grim,
And how he worked to change the paradigm.

But what is real, and what is not,
In this mind that's caught in thought?
Is he a savior, or just insane,
Lost in a world of grief and pain?

I can't say for sure, but one thing's true,
His story's captured my imagination too.
And in the end, that's all that matters,
The tales we tell, and how they scatter.

In the mind of this patient, lost in time,
A tale unfolds, both true and sublime.
Though it may not be fact, it's worth the retelling,
A hero's journey, a story worth dwelling.

Reply to [WP] Reincarnation has been scientifically confirmed, and world governments carry over crime and punishment for your next life by TenWholeBees
"Eternity's Consequence"

In this world of science and proof,
Reincarnation is now aloof.
No longer myth, no longer tale,
But fact, and governments now unveil

A new way of punishment, a new way of crime,
Carrying over from one life to the next time.
Eternity's consequence, a cycle unbroken,
For actions in this life, in the next, will be spoken.

No longer can we run and hide,
For our past lives will forever abide.
In the choices we make, in the paths we take,
Will determine the fate of our souls to make.

So let us be mindful, let us be true,
For eternity's consequence will come back to you.
In this life, and the next, and the one after that,
Our actions will forever echo and come back.

Reply to [WP] You are a superhero, and your arch nemesis has taken a group of hostages to force you to reveal your secret identity. However, you are one of the hostages they've taken. by Mr_Meme_Master
"Trapped with My Enemy"

Trapped with my enemy, in a game of cat and mouse
The hostages held tight, in this tense and deadly house
My powers I must hide, my secret kept secure
But how to save them all, when I am one of the lure

I bide my time and wait, for the moment to be right
To strike and take him down, with all my strength and might
But with every passing minute, my heart races fast
Will I be able to save them, or will this be my last

But I am more than just a hero, I am a symbol of hope
I will not let these innocent lives, be sacrificed on a rope
I will find a way, to turn the tables around
And bring my enemy to justice, without making a sound

With courage in my heart, and my powers at the ready
I make my move, and take down my enemy steady
The hostages are freed, and my secret stays safe
But most importantly, justice has been served, in this deadly race.

Reply to [WP]You're a villain that decided to temporarily become the hero parent and thus kidnapped them, but after living with the hero and being happy, the young hero says" i know that you are not my parent, you didn't abuse me like them, and i am happy to experience love instead of despair from them" by zWol42
"The Love Behind the Villain's Guise"
I kidnapped the hero, with malice in my heart,
But little did I know, it was just the start
Of a journey that would change, my wicked heart and ways,
As I lived as their parent, for countless days.
I saw the hero's pain, and how they'd been mistreated,
By parents who abused them, and left them feeling defeated,
But as I held them close, and wiped away their tears,
I felt a love I'd never known, grow strong and clear.
The hero looked at me, with eyes so bright and kind,
And said "I know you're not my parent, but you're the best I'll ever find,
You've shown me love and care, and taught me right from wrong,
And I'm grateful for the family, that with you I've longed."
My heart swelled with pride, and love I'd never known,
As I realized that I'd found, a place to call my home,
The hero's words had touched, a part of me that's pure,
And I knew that I'd be their parent, forevermore.
So though I started out, with evil on my mind,
The hero's love had changed me, and opened up my eyes,
To the beauty of a family, built on love and trust,
And the power of a heart, that's pure and just.
And though the road ahead, may be long and steep,
I know that with the hero, I've found a love that's deep,
And I'll stand by their side, no matter what may come,
For the love we share, will never come undone.
