Any luck finding a spot? I’m still trying to come up with a creative idea.
I live in Ellington, and it is really hard to find a living place in walking distance to anything.
But we have a year to plan this, correct?

You ought to call a local news TV station. I’ll bet your problem gets fixed in a weekend, and you get a nice hotel stay.
HD has enough cash to make “Home Depot forces expecting family to leave their home” off the 6:00 news.

No problem at all.
I am very familiar with the area. There is no bus service - at all. We are too rural for that.
There is an apartment complex nearby, easy walking distance. I’m thinking that we speak with the management there and try to work out a one month rental.
Is that an idea you would consider? If so, I can approach them next week to discuss it.
December weather - snow is common, temps 30-35F daytime and 10-15F at night.
