41 minutes in and it's painfully generic. Say what you will about Amazon dad action shows but they manage to keep you watching. American action thriller tv shows are getting so boring lately though. The new season for Jack Ryan has him racing to stop rogue Russians wanting to set off a nuke. I can already see myself sleeping halfway through the first episode.

Yeah. American cop procedurals used to be good comfort tv for me growing up but they got too soapy. I then found British detective shows and I'm never looking back. I'd take a bullet for Foyle.

There's a Dune tiktoker who explained this world a while back and it just seemed too edgy for mainstream audiences. I could see it an animated series but not live action.

This episode cracked me up but I was so pissed when that guy didn't say "shut up about the sun" in the previous episode.

This and Andor were such big sci-fi surprises this year. Congrats to the cast and crew!
