Do you know of a local location company proficient in wind turbines for homes?

Highly recommend the team at harvest star. They have the best prices around (unless you DIY) are knowledgeable, and do quality work. We are on the grid for now but when it’s time to add more solar we will use them again.

If it’s cold they could be worried about black ice. I know a few spots by me and always drive slower on cold days in those areas. Sorry to anyone behind me lol! Feel free to pass. It’s not worth crashing to gain an extra five minutes in travel time.

Reply to Back-up Generator for Entire House by ReadBonny
We have solar and a gas generator. Super grateful for both systems. It really wasn’t that big of a hassle to have the generator installed. We used Taylor rental and they made all the arrangements for the install. Speak to Harveststar if you haven’t already they are awesome with solar and if they don’t know about it they will know who to talk to.

We need low income apartments complexes for people that don’t have homes. It’s that simple. Everything here that’s a new build are lux and built for well established individuals.

Air quality is always lovely, if you have a well you need to get it tested. Each one is different and a whole house filter can be useful. Swimming in lake Champlain is wonderful and just as nice as the beach.

Graduating from higher education institutions doesn’t have any reflection on your practical life skills or common sense. Tons of people graduate and still loudly don’t understand the world around them. Memorization skills are all you need to graduate. Like your comment, wildly ignorant and classiest. Please do better.

Occasionally shaws has a buy one get one or two that’s worth it. Otherwise they are usually 20-50$ more expensive per shop consistently. Even with the app and all the deals. Honestly we make the trip to Costco or shop at Hannafords.

The programs aren’t exclusive to home owners but you would need to talk to your landlord. Chevy does offer an evgo credit instead of the charger install stipend. There are a bunch of charging stations around Vermont and New England, but it’s definitely something to look into.

Check out the Chevy bolt it has the best deal at the moment. We ended up getting an EV and PHEV this year. So far no negative except I wish our phev was an EV lol. If you have green mountain power they offer a free charger and if you get a Chevy they offer free install or 1000 towards it if it’s deemed custom.

Don't go with someone who doesn't have a waiting list it's not worth it. We end up doing a ton of our own work due to the wait lists and bad experiences with contractors that didn't have one.

So weird we have Geico and have had an amazing experience with them. a mouse ate my cars airbags and totaled it. Geico gave us more than what the kelly blue book value was. We had chosen full comprehensive with zero delectable, because I was sick of paying for rocks hitting the windshield. But we got almost 10k and they replaced our car seats because the mouse chewed them.

Reply to Landlord AND health inspector failing to fix mice issue, and now landlord may not renew lease because we spoke up by [deleted]
Mice are super tough, blocking access points is a big fixer. When we purchased our home the previous owners had let them really get into the house. Steel wool, foam, and replacing any worn down wood helps. I also found and I know how wild this sounds but we have been looking for solutions that don’t harm other animals mouse birth control which is supposedly very effective. Haven’t tried it yet but have plans to put some out in the spring. https://conntraceptol.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA8aOeBhCWARIsANRFrQFo7sFTBIZLdKTfqLlqvzEy0Je21DcIe6P0ws3CjlmAaBJT-vbWfNgaAvFlEALw_wcB
