Playstation consoles already ship with an internal solid state drive rather than mechanical hard drives as found on the PS4 generation.
That's why there isn't a drastic performance difference for using external media

Using terms such as "half the temperature" become meaningless statements unless using a temperature scale that starts at 0 at absolute zero.

0 degrees Fahrenheit and 0 degrees Celsius aren't the same temperature.
Instead 0°C = 32°F
