Eccleston was incredible in The Leftovers though for sure. He deserves his own credit, even if it's not as a villain.

I think the original pilot episode of "The Cage" for Star Trek is worth noting here, as it was 57 years from the pilot to pickup for Strange New Worlds.

I think there's some good ideas it has and the effects are top notch, but the writing and acting is..... not always there to support it. Season 3 had both some of the highlights and lowlights of the show. I think it would have been better if Seth McFarlane didn't have to sell it as "Family Guy in Space".
That said, I would still like to see more of it (and I enjoy New Trek too.)

Nami Melumad deserves a lot of the credit. Giacchino wrote the main theme, but she did all the music in the episode. (Giacchino's still great in his own right, though.)
