I was never much of an artist but I enjoyed the process. I recall a friendly man with a mustache leading things in elementary school. In junior high the teacher was a tiny woman with delicate hands who was a ringer for Julie Christie in “Heaven Can Wait”. I thought she was great on that account.

Anyone else recall having to bring in an old short sleeve shirt of your father’s to wear backwards as an art class painter’s smock?

I’m no expert but there seems to be some terrier in that motley mixed breed trooper. Your boy looks like a really playful and upbeat fella.

I dubbed it as such in a message to my wife near the end of my working day. Today was possibly the wildest ride weather wise that I can recall in a very long time.

Robbie Coltrane was great in "Mona Lisa" with Bob Hoskins and Michael Caine. You know, with my looks, I could have been a legendary British actor.

That brings back some memories of a rare time in popular (sorta) music. Black Flag at the 930 in D.C. on an unspeakably hot and humid summer’s night—flat draughts, Henry with hair like Jim Morrison in his prime and a pair of black running shorts he might’ve borrowed from Kira—very Iggyesque.

I was never much of a Mopar fan. My older brother and one of my unclea were. The Duster had panache. I must admit that.
