25 speeding tickets? My guy, you need to take some of the lead out of your insoles

There will likely be several feet of snow in that area of the mountains at that time of year
Snow at elevation sticks around until June or July in some places

Over the pass, you should be fine. Go slow, and if conditions are bad reschedule your trip
You won’t make it up any forest roads, so plan a snowshoeing destination that has a plowed parking lot

I don’t know. My best guess would be to contact a Washington lawyer

Yeah, I believe a citation

That’s BS. Seattle PD has a legal requirement to issue a CPL in 60 days if your friend is not a prohibited person
Your friend is also required to possess his CPL on his person while concealed carrying, so SPD is basically telling him to violate the requirements of his CPL

Even a gunshot directly through the heart will allow blood from the vena cava to drain out. The vena cava holds a significant amount of blood which would definitely be noticeable

I think you are mistaken in your analysis of gunshot wounds. They bleed a lot. They bleed so much. Even if the gentleman was shot directly in the heart, there’s still blood in the heart and in the vena cava that would leak out, blood pressure or not. Death is never that immediate, even people shot directly in the chest have enough residual blood pressure for like 10 seconds of consciousness
Doesn’t explain how his dog died though!

The way Christensen’s gunshot wound was described is interesting. A gunshot wound that barely bled? So little blood that deputies didn’t even notice it was a gunshot? That does vaguely sound like he was deceased at the time of shooting. But this investigation still stinks

Drop by some of the wineries in between Walla Walla and Yakima. It’s a world class wine grape growing region for a reason!

An interesting change of scenery potential could be to have the characters venture over to the east side of the state and enjoy the many agricultural rewards of the area. Washington is the largest producer of apples, cherries, and hops in the US, not to mention has a healthy wine grape industry

Well, to oversimplify dramatically, one side of the state has pretty mild winters but lots of gray. The other side has lots of sun in the summer but much colder winters with plenty of snow.
