For comparison, the Stable Diffusion-based AI models that generate prompted images DO have an invisible but detectable watermark embedded by default in those hundreds of dreamed up images that get posted to reddit now everyday ... but they included an option to turn it off.
Steganography is far further along in digital images than plain text though...
