When fishing in Arctic Norway the authorities have banned the taking of halibut larger than 1m because of the risk of biological magnification of heavy metals. Is the Arctic really that polluted with mercury, etc.? If so, what's the source of these metals?

I use one in an old TV in the bedroom and have just gotten another for another aging not-so-smart TV. They are better than the streaming boxes, but they all (boxes and Chromecast) suffer from the dreadfully poor performance - I don't know what processors they use but for a few cents more they could just as easily have something that is reasonably nippy.

When I first started donating in College, many moons ago, it was normal to be given a Guinness afterwards. I never heard of that causing any negative episodes, although I suppose it's possible. It sounds like you had plenty to eat and had only a single beer, so I suspect this is a good example of conflating correlation with causation.
