Sound wise I personally use Bose QCll buds with my 14PM. Tried AirPods Pro and they weren’t for me. Buds are such a personal choice as far as fit, sound and functionality. The ones I personally tried before I settled on Bose QCll. Sony WF1000XM4 AirPods Pro (first gen) Jarbra 85T Bose QC (first gen) Sennheiser MTW3’s

I recommend trying as many as possible if you can or buy from somewhere with a good returns policy.

I did one thing because i wanted to go close to case less with my 14 Pro Max. That was 1 phone call to Apple support and asked how much to replace the screen by Apple in Australia. They quoted $650. So I got Apple Care. I suppose it depends on your own personal situation financially and is the cost of replacement an acceptable risk🤷‍♂️

Not trying to worry you but I thought I’d start MagSafe charging with my new 14ProMax. I brought an ESR brand 10000mAh powerbank/pass through one with a kickstand. My battery health dropped in 1 month. I also had “charging paused due to heat” messages sometimes. It could be coincidence but I stopped using it and went back to 20W Apple charging via lightning cable and my battery health stopped dropping and has remained the same. I do have a separate MagSafe mounted to the air vent in the car though and I do use that still. Make of all that what you will🤷‍♂️

My iPhone 14Pro Max displayed “charging paused due to heat” multiple times when charging on beside table so I’ve gone back to 20W charger and cable at home. Battery health dropped a month after purchase at release also. I still MagSafe charge in the car though but it’s mounted to the air vent for cooling.

Nothing that revolutionary, but how about supporting HiDef music over Bluetooth 🤷‍♂️. I have the latest flagship 14 ProMax and even when paired with the latest AirPods Pro ll I can only get the ancient AAC codec. Android have supported LDAC and AptX for a while along with earbuds in the same price range as AirPods Pro ll. Apple needs to go back to its roots, it revolutionised music with the iTunes Store, iPod and iPod touch that preceded the iPhone. Music is a staple of most peoples life on the go now, I think it’s an important thing to develop. I personally will be looking to IPhone 15 to do something better with music.

I’m liking the island. I’m always listening to Spotify and like the album covers animation and music graph the most. Also when you set a timer it shows the countdown. Always hated the notch personally.

I rang and talked to Apple and asked if screens were covered under AppleCare and they said yes. I asked how much to replace my 14ProMax screen and they quoted $650 (Australian)if I didn’t have AppleCare so I purchased it🤷‍♂️

I’m hopeless at putting them on without dust and bubbles but this one worked first time and with the stencil applicator it also positioned it perfectly. I was so impressed I brought another and stuck it in the draw should I need another. There is even a video of how to install for dummies like me. https://www.cygnett.com/products/opticshield-for-iphone-2022-6-7-triple-camera

I have a 14PM and I like it. My favourite uses is Spotify where it displays small album cover and I also like the animation when a timer is set. It doesn’t seem to get in the way and more apps will utilise or do utilise it I’m sure.

I have an ESR 10000mAh Power bank. One important thing I’ll stress to you is make sure you ask is it MagSafe compliant? Not MagSafe compatible. Is it actually Apple MFI certified because if it’s not (like mine) it will only charge an iPhone at 7.5w wirelessly as opposed to 15w. It’s tricky because you read the specs and it says 18w capable but that’s Android charging.
