Reply to Does the textile waste ban seem like it is going to be a nightmare to anyone else? by lufecaep
From my understanding the law is mainly meant to go after big companies that trash a LOT of textiles. The recycling police aren’t going to go through your trash and throw you in jail if they find some old socks in there or anything.
For big things like mattresses, are you sure your town doesn’t have an organized pickup option?

Ok no joke I love this idea. The pink and orange colors could look like a sunset and just kinda wink at the Dunkin logo.

In addition to being offensive to native Americans the flag is also boring and kind of ugly. Does anyone deeply identify with the Massachusetts flag anyway? It’s so forgettable. Might as well take this opportunity to change it to something cooler. I mean, why not? It’s win-win.

Mississippi’s new flag is nice too (minus the words which I agree are superfluous and annoying)- it’s a magnolia flower!

This is a great question. I have a PhD in neuroscience and I am realizing I don’t actually know the answer.

We switched to our town’s last year and not only is it cheaper it’s also all renewable energy. Win-win! Would recommend.

That's how I felt. Individually some of the things it did seemed fine, but it put them all together in such a bizarre way that I didn't feel certain of the implications. I didn't want our liquor laws to become even more complicated if there wasn't a clear benefit. That might make real reform more difficult down the road.
