Reply to TIL that the ratio of male births to female births is 51/49%, and it's thought the ratio of X and Y chromosomes in the man's sperm is most likely the cause. by iKickdaBass
I woulda thought opposite. Cause a species could use more females than males.
Another comment said, for fertilization, it's about equal.

But I'm arguing that many or most things that you would label as overthinking are actually the secrets of life being figured out. People domt realize how uncomfortable many people are with the deep truths.
You dont seem like someone who wants to have deep yet precise conversations.

Claims of people "overthinking" is just condemning smart people for figuring things out better than you.

I came here to say basically this! We already feel this way, and perhaps it has in some ways hindered our success!
The proliferation of hate on social media might be too much for ANYONE to bear and be successful, without people supporting you and understanding you and your beliefs and not hating you.

You realize that u/clinkzs is correct, right? (I'm not saying that america is splendid). A lot of things historically, especially when it comes to language, went precisely like this:
Step 1: Britain does something
Step 2: America, naturally cause of its English language connection or before america existed, does it too.
Step 3: Britain changes it
Step 4: America doesnt change it

Motivation, sure. But then they will treat the non-motivated like crap (like the motivational speakers). And, I'm scared of literally everyone having debates, it'll be chaos and anger and fighting.
