Because he almost won, no way Caesar could let such a dangerous opponent survive.

Yes it is called a graduate transfer, if you still have NCAA athletic eligibility, you can continue to play as a grad student.

Reply to Secrets of the Dead: Resurrecting Richard III (2014) Recreating Richard's training and armour with a modern day person with the same condition to see if he could have been a fearsome warrior, despite the curvature of his spine. An excellent companion to the recent movie, The Lost King. [00:55:39] by Chris_in_Lijiang
My son and I loved this doc! Richard III is a fascinating character. No one is really sure whether he was a monster who killed his own nephews or the heroic final King of England's greatest dynasty and victim of a masterful Tudor propaganda campaign. Either way the man went out like a boss, the final king of England to die in battle shouting..."I will die as King of England, I will not budge a foot!"
The doc itself is so cool because they were able to find a modern Richard Analog and create an authentic suit of armor for him to train in. Really cool stuff.

I think the new "right to try" law, maybe the only good thing Trump ever did as president allows people access to any experimental treatment they want if they are already terminal, which is also good for research...but I don't know the details.

It is sad that many are sacrificed and often suffer horribly, but if we don't further this research millions of people, dogs, cats, mice, rats, chimps every animal on earth will continue to die of this horrible disease. There is no other way.

Alright XO, I have some good news for you, consciousness studies are getting really interesting and their is actually serious inquiries into the possibility of the survival of consciousness post mortem. Look up Bruce Greyson and Sam Parnia as two good starters. There is a ton of woo and fake shit around life after death as well, most of the people peddling this shit are trying to sell books, looking at you Eben Alexander. In the end as pointed out above, none of us know, either way...we aren't dead yet.

Kudos for pointing out nobody really knows. So many on reddit think they have it all figured out, one way or the other. The only certainty in life is uncertainty.

Disney actually made a halfway decent movie about Togo starring Willem Defoe, my kids loved it.
Edit: Also wanted to add that Togo was 12 when he lead the dogs, and died at 16. Legend.

I have so many of these people in my family. They automatically judge consensus as group think and as such judge all alternatives to consensus as truth. It is infuriating.

I think we have discovered the rules, or rule really. Greed is devastating. The attempt to escape the collective and excel at the expense of others leads to all sin. Greed, Lust, Sloth, Envy, Pride, Wrath and Gluttony are all just different shades of greed.
