First, it's beautiful!

When scrolling I initially thought it was a whale jumping off Niagara falls, which would also be cool.

Now that is serene! I like the light on the whale reflecting through the water. It becomes a little abstract for me in that the surface resembles both water and sky. I really like the effect, and the purple is fantastic!

Yeah, it really was an exercise in painting water, don't think it was a complete success but it was fun.

To be fair, I am an amateur myself and even worst haven't been practicing any form of art for decades now. Nevertheless: Don't make the same mistake as most amateurs and think of yourself as one ;-)
