I just wanted to throw this out there, as an ex wrestler. (HS, went to state once, basically sucked at it) w/o caul..... it.s mostly the result of having one's head "ground" into the mat by one's opponent over time, and is basically blood gets between the cartilage and the skin.. kinda like a hematoma if I'm not mistaken, which I often am...
