That I'm Jewish because of my last name. Several Lutheran ministers turned in their graves with that comment.

Edit: Downvotes? for mentioning Jewish? Can we say, white supremacist?

On the flip side, dad's family is Jewish, but they share their surname with the skipper of the Bismarck and Martin Luther's mother. A lot of those German names are ambiguous. Even the Goldberg that Bach wrote the variations for was a gentile.
