When I felt the breeze cool my lower parts

When people started saying odd shit like "xyz" or "is it breezy down south?".

We were on the last leg of a long road trip and she laid down with her head in my lap to rest.

I used to work as a cashier, and two girls come up and they're giggling. I'm thinking they like me or something, and I'm smiling back. Then before they leave, they're like "btw your zipper is down".

That seems to be a common theme whenever that happens, jokes about a breeze and ventilation.

People usually seem to giggle, laugh, or stare when that happens. Do they find it amusing?

True, with "xyz" standing for "examine your zipper" and the South being the direction associated with the crotch, also the breeze jokes. The humor is kind of weird.

I'd feel the same way. Something about it being funny as long as you are not the unfortunate one being made fun of.

I've done this way too often lately at work. I'm not sure why im so forgetful about it. Luckily, my shirts long enough to cover it mostly, so it's never been noticed, at least as far as i know

It is a relief that long shirts have come to the rescue. The forgetfulness could be tied to being preoccupied or rushed.
