When I was young (born in 66) my parents had Kenmore everything. I remember that avocado fridge that lasted for 35 years. It went with the house when they sold it and it was still perfect. Now with Sears' downfall and just everyday quality, I'd never buy Kenmore. Such a shame it went to shit. It's a crap shoot nowadays what to buy. LG. Samsung, I've had good and bad with them and others. I have a home warranty and when something happens I call and get it fixed.

It really is... I have a warranty too but I have to pay $75 for the initial service calls, so it's not as bad as it could be. I just wish companies would stop with the planned obsolescence stuff and make a decent product again. Though the suggestions of Miele, Maytag, and Speed Queen have definitely peaked my interest.
