I've heard of some people finding the hourly chiming drives them nuts after awhile. If you haven't had an hourly chime clock in your lifetime maybe an app would be good to see if it meshes well with you before investing in a real clock. Just an idea as someone who knows someone who literally ripped out a clock in the wall of an air bnb lol.
