From my experience, old thermos work better than the newer ones, just gotta watch out for rust

I have one of those chrome and green ones handed down to me from my Father. I don't use it much because it's pretty big. Like the anti-aircraft guns projectile on the Missouri big.

I tried one before I got my thermoflask and it leaked down my shirt, I think the modern ones have better gaskets
