Reply to comment by AutoModerator in I ordered a Pendleton National Parks wool blanket and the package was like this when I opened the box — Should I be concerned? Or should it be fine if it visually seems ok? by lukeman3000
I of course don’t know when the package ripped but I guess my only concern is if it sat like that in the warehouse for awhile, could that be a problem as far as bugs/moisture/etc. might be concerned or should it not make any real difference since the zippered bags they come in aren’t exactly airtight anyways?

Give it a look and a sniff. If you don't notice anything unusual, you are good to go.

Wool is an amazing material. It's naturally anti-bacterial, doesn't absorb much water, is more or less self-cleaning unless it gets really dirty. You'll be fine.
