Update: my father jimmied it for a bit and we're back in business. It's a Christmas miracle.

Oh good. I was about to say may it Rest In Peace. My parents have one that looks like it must be from the 60s or 70s. It just keeps working. Amazing product. I hope my kitchen aid stand mixer purchased in 2020 will last as long.
