I don’t think you can trust brands alone, but have to pay attention to the fabric thickness and makeup. And, as a PP suggested take care of them by avoiding dryer cycles.

I have a couple pairs of 100% cotton pants that are a decade old pants that I just recently patched and will keep wearing for awhile.
