slippers with durable soles?

edit: sorry it seems there confusion in for the term slippers.

i mean something like teva MUSH.

i suppose some call it sandals,or thongs, or flip flops?

can recommend good quality soles that doesn't go bald?

looking for something that i can wear daily for years.

i have went through four tevas in this 5 years and seems like the soles went bald pretty fast these days

edit 2 : looks like the new birkenstock atacama / birkenstock rugged suits my requirements, thanks guys.

but damn ... these sandals cost as much as a proper running shoes

I've been wearing some from duluth trading for a year now and they look brand new on the outside. The inside fuzz is pretty worn down, but it looks like I can just replace the insole to make that like new.

An all leather shoe will mold to your foot, and be supremely comfortable, breathable, and durable. Popular Maine based brands include Quoddy, Rancourt, and EasyMoc.

The higher quality tevas tend to last a while! Sadly the most durable sandals I’ve ever purchased were teva knockoffs from a market in Cambodia and they’ve lasted me 100s of miles and 5 years (and they’re still going strong!)

I don’t know that it will work for every shoe but re-soleing will give your shoes a longer life. It was recommended by my sons physical therapist but didn’t help my little feet dragger but I thought the idea was awesome. They suggested that you talk to them first and see if the shoe you want is possible. They also have lists of shoes that they recommend.

Ohh, never knew they existed.

I always have two pairs on the go, always with socks.

Have one clean pair and one dirty pair at all times. Use them for diy, gardening, on the beach, etc.

Dump them in washing machine once in a while.

They honestly just seem to last forever, are comfortable, dry quick and generally stable, gripping and have that strap at the back.
