So my other half is a “tinner”, builds and installs air ducts/furnaces and all that fun stuff.

He spends A LOT of time in crawl spaces which blows out the toe of his boots. It’s such a waste so I’m on the hunt for a good durable pair of boots that can take the abuse of his job.

So very thankful in advance!

A couple of questions first. Are we talking commercial, industrial or residential? Do the boots need to be steel toe? And lastly what part of the world are you in?.

Hello OP, I'm going to make a suggestion that may get thrown out the window but hear me out. I want one of these just for fashion but also for the same reason.

I like my boots tough. I kick stuff with my shitkickers. Nothing crazy, but leather do be scuffing easy sometimes.

So here we go...your so gonna have to know their preferred last, actual sizing, etc, and wait for it to be made likely...plus import duties and stuff likely...vat maybe... But they'll help with sizing and stuff.

This is my recommendation.

Best in my opinion would be a pair of redwing work boots. I would go with a “6 as they are better for working in tight areas.

I would also recommend getting his feet properly sized for the new boot as they can be rather pricy.

Being a Canadian sheet metal worker I found it was practical to have two pairs of boots one for summer and one for winter.

Hope this helps

I still have my Timberland Pro work boots that I got in 2013.

Saw daily wear in the oilfield for around 2 years and daily wear in house installation and construction for another 2. So close to 4 years daily wear and I still have them. Changed jobs and don't need them but still wear them for outside handyman work.
