I’m new to this and I had a weird experience the first time I went out to the store. I wanted to walk in and just flash my ID like in mass or like at every liquor store. Instead I was met by a man with a tablet who had me give my info, including name, phone number and email. I had to do this as other shoppers looked on and could hear everything I was telling the guy. All this just to place an order online using the tablet that I then picked up immediately after inside the store.

I get that it’s legal and I shouldn’t worry, but this is a struggle for someone who would like to be discreet. Are all dispensaries in state like this? Are there any that just check your id and the. Let you shop?

I remember in mass I had to give my info as well. Maybe it’s something they just do during the initial rollout phase?

I can't remember for sure but I think the last couple times I went in Mass they just scan your id and put your order into a database. It's to prevent you from exceeding the daily limit by going to the next dispensary over and loading up again.

At least I think that's what they did..was a while ago.

It’s tough. Everyone was nice and it was pleasant otherwise, but I specifically waited until they announced that they were taking pick up orders to go lol

I agree. Still waiting to see if this is common everywhere or if it’s just the place I visited. Happy to bring my business to the establishment most respectful of privacy and least reliant on their computerized weed customer database
