Oh that’s a good point. I forget people don’t actually slow to the speed limit lol. The percentile idea is a good one if they are able to get the data for it.

These are only on the highway and I feel pretty confident in saying everyone should slow down regardless if there are people there. The road usually narrows or there is slightly more angled turn or a number of other reasons why slowing down in those zones is important.

I’ve seen evidence that they cause more harm than good in widespread cases. I don’t mind specific uses, though. I like the idea of construction zones on the highway for sure.

Reply to comment by [deleted] in Connecticut teachers, what problems are you facing with your students now? by PettyWitch
Idk, I don’t remember touching my friends butts in middle school. That sounds like textbook inappropriate. They should be preparing the students by teaching them that that type of behavior isn’t allowed in the real world. If I touched a coworkers butt after they told me to stop I would be fired and/or arrested. I think a phone call home is an entirely appropriate response. Sounds like you’re the type of idiot parent all these other posts are referring to.

I guess CT does look really good on paper, but would definitely be weird to make it the main reason you travel to the US.

Does anyone have any experience with a plumbing service plan like Bantam Wesson? I saw that and considered it for the same reason, which was having issues with independent plumbers.

Even worse. Can’t imagine the living conditions.

The fact that there were 100,000 chickens in that area is pretty horrible. Try and support local farmers and neighbors by buying eggs from them. There are stands all over the state.

Oddly enough, based on that story, if Graybrown had been a cop, that kid would be dead and riddled with bullets right now.

Idk, kid freaking out in a first grade classroom with 25 other students? What are they supposed to do? Calmly ask him to stop while the other 25 kids get traumatized by the kid swearing, trying to hit other students/staff, and having their education interrupted?

I remember in mass I had to give my info as well. Maybe it’s something they just do during the initial rollout phase?
