Dermatology practices are all booked way the hell out. If I were you I’d book at a few places, because the availability for “new patient” appts are far fewer than regular/follow up appts because they have to spend more time with you at your first appt. I am in a situation where I’m trying to see a new doc, been waiting for 6 months for a coveted new patient slot on her calendar, and they just fucking canceled it because the doctor has a scheduling conflict. So I’m basically back to square one, waiting another 6 months to see her……

Just be courteous and cancel your other booked appts immediately once you finally get to see a doctor.
