I posted this in the Norwalk subreddit but I figured this one might be better seen...I don't live in the state but my niece who's 12 does and wants to play football (US football not soccer) but can't find any opportunities for this. A google search didn't help so I'm hoping maybe someone more local has better info on if this even exists.

Norwalk probably participates in the junior football league - maybe contact them or their main office to find out? I think it’s called something like Youth football and cheer.

There has got to be a team for her somewhere around here

So do freshman boys and seniors, but they play together, unless ofcourse you think a 13/14 year old boy is the same as an 18 year old...

Or how about at the next level, you get 18year olds playing against guys who are a literally a year away from being a professional athlete in the NFL.

Football isnt serrated by physical attributes, it's seperated by ability.

So let freshman play with freshman etc

You aren't here protecting anybody and this has nothing to do with being PC.

I've played tons of co-ed sports, all people want is to be treated equally, it's not that fucking difficult, especially in sports.

This literally doesn't hurt anyone, I'm not sure why you're so upset that a kid wants to play football.

I'm not even advocating to remove boys and girls teams, it just makes simple sense that if there isn't a girls team, girls can play with the boys.

I know the have adult womens football, like the CT Crushers. I think in high school they would just be on the boys team.
