The argument for years was “they should legalize and use the taxes on it to fund xyz.” And now that it’s legal and the prices are higher than on the street where it’s not taxed, people are confused or angry at the higher price.

The failure to connect the dots here is astounding. Legalized purchases from stores was ALWAYS going to be more expensive by a pretty substantial amount than buying from your dealer hookup.

That's a shit argument bc Mass found a way to be only mildly unreasonable so why can't we? I'll just continue to go there smh

Did you go to mass when they first opened? Same price points from what I remember.

I did not; by the time I remembered it was an option, the prices were just barely tolerable like they are now.

You have that option to continue to go there. Also, it’s day 2. MA has been open for awhile (like 6 years now or so?). They’ve had much longer to reduce their prices and streamline things.
