Hey guys, I know a lot of people in Connecticut I am acquainted with tend to go to Town Fire Tire when it comes to their tire needs. Therefore, I have created r/TownFairTire … Take a gander!

I’ve brought three vehicles there for tire changes and so far I’ve come back to: broken air pressure sensors that they refused to admit they broke or refund, dead batteries, scratched paint, broken bolts, and they even fried my electrical system once. Every time I’ve gone back they’ve tried to tell me I know nothing about cars and that it wasn’t their fault. They’re rude, shit at their job, and crooks. I’ve had to bring my personal mechanic and lawyer to their door too many times

Maybe it’s just the location. I’ve had good experiences. Not sure how an electrical system gets fried putting on tires. That’s impressive.

Yep blew my mind, my theory is they killed the battery by leaving the keys in and then tried to jump it with way too much voltage

I stopped going years ago after they somehow broke the switch for my power windows.

I only go to town fair tire, but a subreddit is weird. I feel like it’s going to just be tire porn.

I’m going to subscribe to this simply because I’m feeling cruel and want to watch it die.

Would never go to a town fair again after my last visit when they cut my break lines to get more work.

That’s awesome! Maybe someone can make a subreddit for Splash Carwash or the Jiffy Lube on Federal Road in Danbury!!!!

I had a great experience at Costco, but only if you are being proactive, willing to wait a while between placing your order and getting the appointment for install.

Absolutely NOT the place to get AAA to drop your disabled vehicle at 3am hoping to get it back in service quickly.

That is what TFT would be good for, maybe even the best since they keep so much inventory nearby.

In New Milford Mavis is fantastic!

No thanks. Town fair tire often has the lowest price, but you often get what you pay for. I’ve had them fuck up quite a few times.

Incredibly cheap ownership. They had me tour a facility and offer advice on operational energy use. They wanted all the help but wanted to pay Pennys for it. They were unreasonable. Never bringing my car there.
